Privacy Policy

When you use Pinsutra to run deliveries, your business decides which orders, customers and riders go into the platform. For that delivery data, your business is the data controller and Pinsutra processes it on your instructions.

For account data, such as the details you give us when you sign up, Pinsutra is responsible for how it is used.

• Account details: name, work email, company, role and billing details.
• Order data you upload or sync: order numbers, delivery addresses, time windows, item details and COD amounts.
• Customer contact details needed to deliver: name, phone number and address.
• Rider data: name, phone number, vehicle type, and location during working shifts.
• Proof of delivery: photos, signatures, OTP results, timestamps and coordinates.
• Usage data: pages and features used, device type and error logs to keep the service working.

Rider location is recorded only between shift login and logout in the rider app. When a rider logs out, location collection stops. Riders can see in the app when sharing is on.

Location is used to show live position to dispatchers, calculate ETAs, verify proof of delivery and build route history. Customers see a rider’s position only when that rider is near their own drop.

Customer phone numbers are masked in the rider app. Riders call customers through a masked line and never see the actual number.

The AI Address Cleaner suggests corrections to addresses. The original address is always kept, and uncertain addresses are confirmed with the customer rather than guessed.

• To reconcile cash on delivery and produce delivery reports.
• To send tracking links and delivery messages on your behalf.
• To provide support, keep the service secure and fix problems.
• To improve address matching within your own account as deliveries are confirmed.

• We never sell delivery, rider or customer data.
• We never use your customers’ data to market to them.
• We never track riders outside working shifts.

We use carefully chosen providers for hosting, maps and navigation, SMS and WhatsApp messaging, masked calling, payments and email. They process data only to provide their service to Pinsutra and are bound by confidentiality and data protection terms.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside your account is controlled by roles, so riders, dispatchers, cashiers and managers see only what their role needs. Access by Pinsutra staff is limited to support and operations and is logged.

Delivery data, proof and location history are kept for the retention period of your plan, or a shorter period you set. When an account is closed, you can export your data, after which it is deleted from active systems within 90 days.

You can access, correct, export or delete your account data. Riders and customers whose data is held by a business using Pinsutra should contact that business first, and we will help them respond. For any privacy request, write to us through the Dispatch Room page.
